About Conference

The global market value for advanced energy storage systems is expected to reach US$ 1.39 billion by 2024. The ever increasing demand for these systems, which stems from the ceaseless demand of energy for everyday functioning, reflects the critical need for advanced energy materials. Research in fundamental discovery in materials science, engineering, and related disciplines leads to the discovery of novel devices like advanced batteries and capacitors with high energy storage which are used in different applications.

To further strengthen research and advancement of materials for energy applications, OLC International is organizing the International Conference on Advanced Energy Materials and Applications (ICAEMA-2021) which is scheduled to be held during March 15-16, 2021 in Vancouver, Canada. The theme of the conference is “Exploring Advanced Energy Materials for a Resilient Future”, which focuses on the fundamental discovery in renewable energy generation.

The main objective of this premier conference is to promote the gathering of scientists, scholars, students, researchers, policymakers and industry experts to exchange and enhance their knowledge and discover new ideas for future energy applications that are cheaper, safer and easier to discharge and recharge.

This two-day event provides a platform for worldwide professionals dealing with advanced energy materials and related disciplines to share their research outcomes and take part in intensive and interactive discussions on different aspects of advanced energy materials. It includes informative keynote lectures, plenary talks, panel discussions, debate sessions, workshops, exhibition and video and oral presentations that reflect on various sub-topics in this field.

Vancouver is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, with a stunning setting between the North Shore Mountains and the beautiful Pacific Ocean. A popular filming location, it’s surrounded by mountains, and also has thriving art, theatre, and music scenes. Known for its amazing scenery, Vancouver is a city that certainly takes advantage of its great location. Sandwiched between the Pacific Ocean and the Coastal Mountain range gives the city a stunning backdrop, whilst on the North Shore, just minutes from Downtown Vancouver is the North Shore Mountain range with ski resorts and spectacular views back towards the city and beyond.

The area of East Hastings, where a lot of them congregate, is one of Vancouver’s darkest secrets. Restaurants in the city offer a wide range of tastes, so food enthusiasts will be in their element living in Vancouver. Vancouver is perennially voted as one of the best dining cities in North America and is always competing for foodie accolades against other major international cities such as London, Paris and New York. Vancouver is a food lover’s paradise.

Public transport in Vancouver is excellent, so it’s easy to time your trips. Translink is the main operator, running a network of buses, rapid transit trains (SkyTrain), commuter rail (West Coast Express), and sea ferry (SeaBus) between North Vancouver and Vancouver.

Port Metro Vancouver is the fourth-largest port by tonnage in the Americas, the busiest and largest in Canada, and the most diversified port in North America. While forestry remains its largest industry, Vancouver is well known as an urban center surrounded by nature, making tourism its second-largest industry.
