Dr. Gordon Huang is a Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Energy and Environment, and Executive Director of the Institute for Energy, Environment and Sustainable Communities at the University of Regina, Canada. He holds BSC from Peking University (China), MSc from Simon Fraser University (Canada) and Ph.D. from McMaster University (Canada). Since the 1990s, Huang has led or been involved in over 100 environment-related research projects produced over 600 peer-refereed international journal papers and supervised over 100 Master/Ph.D. students. He is the president of the International Society for Environmental Information Sciences. He has also served the United Nations as an international expert in the field of risk management for drinking water safety. The integrated simulation, optimization, and risk assessment techniques which he proposed have been used by peers in studying water resources and environmental systems in a number of countries.
University of Ottawa
Professor Skaff received his Bachelor's of Applied Science degree in Civil Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture at the American University of Beirut in 1967. After graduation, he worked as a site engineer in large industrial projects in Libya and Saudi Arabia. Some of the works he supervised are Gas Project, Power, and Desalting Plant, Large Indoor Power House and Water Intake Structures. In 1973, he opened his own engineering and contracting office in Beirut, Lebanon. In October 1976, Professor Skaff joined the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Ottawa where he taught Engineering Graphics to all Engineering students and Surveying Civil Engineering students. Since 1998, he is teaching Graphics, AutoCAD and Surveying to Civil Engineering students and Vector Mechanics (with other professors) to all Engineering students. During his tenure at the Department of Civil Engineering, Professor Skaff published a book entitled "Problems in Engineering Graphics and Design". He is also a professional Engineer and an active member of The Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE) and its faculty advisor for more than twenty-five years. He presented a couple of papers at Civil Engineering conferences on the History of Civil Engineering and on Graphics and how it should be taught. He is also the coordinator of the PEO Student Paper Competition between the Faculties of Engineering at the University of Ottawa and Carleton University. Professor Skaff, during his long years teaching at the University of Ottawa, has maintained high evaluations in the courses that he was and is still teaching.

Mohamed A. ElGawady, Ph. D. is a Professor and Benavides Faculty Scholar at Missouri University of Science and Technology (formerly University of Missouri-Rolla) with 20 years of experience in extreme loading and sustainability. Previously, ElGawady has held positions at Washington State University, University of Auckland, University of South Australia, and Tokyo Institute of Technology. He worked also as a structural engineer for three years. His research addresses the performance of existing structures under man-made and natural hazards.
He also has developed innovative structural systems and sustainable materials to mitigate extreme events. He is heavily involved in different design and construction codes such as The Masonry Society building code, American Concrete Institute Code, and Transportation Research Board. He is the Chair of ACI/ASCE Committee 441 on reinforced concrete columns. He also chairs the ACI 341A on the seismic behavior of bridge columns. He is the secretary for the Prestressed Masonry Committee and Vise-Chair the Masonry Research Committee.
He co-authored 100 referred papers published in tier-one journals and 120 conference papers published in top national and international venues. Dr. ElGawady received funding from different agencies including Missouri DNR, DOT, Federal Highway Administration, University Transportation Center, Mid-America Transportation Center, Transportation Northwest, MoDOT, and WSDOT. His excellent and hard work has been recognized by Missouri S&T through the inaugural Benavides Endowment Award, Joseph H. He has graduated from faculty of Mechanical Engineering as B.Sc. in 1995 and then completed his M.Sc. in “Energy” at Mechanical Engineering Department of DokuzEylül University in İzmir, Turkey and after that, he received his Ph.D. in “Thermodynamics” at Mechanical Engineering Department of Ege University, in İzmir, Turkey.
Asst.Prof. Dr. Elmasis an Assistant Professor of Automotive Technology at the Department of Motor Vehicles and Transportation Technologies at Vocational School of Higher Education for Technical Sciences at IGDIR UNIVERSITY, Turkey. He has also served as an “Assistant Professor” and “Head of Department” of “Energy Systems Engineering” of “Faculty of Engineering And Natural Sciences” at Iskenderun Technical University (İSTE) in Turkey. Dr. J. N. Mandal, Professor of civil engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. He has authored and co-authored approximately 500 papers on geosynthetics in various reputed referred to International/ National journals/conferences. He is the pioneer of geosynthetics and is the founder of the International Geosynthetics Society Chapter (India). He has a chapter "Preservation of environmental protection using geosynthetics waste containment system" in the encyclopedia of environmental control technology, geotechnical applications leak detection treatment options, Gulf Publishing Company Texas, USA. He is the author/editor of six books. He organized the first Indian Geotextile Conference, 1988 at IIT Bombay under the auspicious of International Geosynthetics Society and International Society of Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering. He was the chairman of the International Conference on Geosynthetics and Geoenvironmental Engineering in 2004. He had the privilege of chairing many technical sessions at several National and International Conferences on geosynthetics in India and abroad. Dr. Mandal developed the geosynthetic testing laboratory and offered two courses on geosynthetics for undergraduate and postgraduate students since 1984. He developed a video film on "Geosynthetics Edge" in 1986, a Video lecture on Geosynthetic Engineering(1994) and focused on the Turning Point program on TV on geosynthetics(1992). He has guided several students for their Ph.D. degrees (32), M.Tech B.Tech Projects and three patents on Geosynthetics. He was the editorial board member of the International Journal of Geotextile and Geomembrane, U. K. and editorial advisory board member of the International Journal of Construction and Building Material, England. He was a member of the International Society of Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering technical committee TC 9 on Geotextiles and Geosynthetics and International Geosynthetic Society Education Committee and Member of the International Scientific Advisory Board (ISAB) of the world City water Forum 2009.
Guoqian Chen is a professor of systems ecology and sustainability science at Peking University, China. He has a wide spectrum of research interests including climate thermodynamics, computational fluid dynamics, heat and mass transfer, energy policy, systems ecological modeling, ecological economics, global and regional sustainability studies, systems input-output technique. With distinguished contributions as marked by around 300 publications in prestigious journals, Prof. Chen has won a series of awards and honors, including Elsevier Atlas Award, Thomson Reuters Highly Cited Researchers Award, Thomson Reuters China Citation Laureate. Professor Mervat El-Hoz is the Chairperson of the Environmental Engineering Program at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of the University of Balamand, Lebanon. She graduated from the Middle East Technical University, Turkey as Environmental Engineer and obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Sydney, Australia in the same field. Prof. Changguo Wang was born in Dalian, China, in 1979. He received a BS degree from Shenyang Jianzhu University, China in 2001; the ME and Ph.D. degrees in Engineering Mechanics from Harbin Institute of Technology, China in Mar. 2004 and Mar. 2007, respectively. He is currently a Professor since Dec. 2013 and Ph. D supervisor since Apr. 2012 in the School of Aeronautics. Dr. Wang gained the Nomination Award of the top 100 outstanding doctoral dissertations in China (2009) and selected as the "New Century Excellent Talents in University", the Ministry of Education of China (2011). His major research interest is the mechanics of flexible composites. He currently focuses on three researches: the wrinkling mechanics, the delamination of buckled laminated composites, and the trans-scale mechanics of textile composites. In the recent five years, he published fifty scientific papers cited by SCI in JMPS, IJSS, Compos. Strcut., Compos. PartB, Carbon, Nanoscale, JSV, IJMS, IJES, and AIAA J., etc.. He had sixty-two granted invention patents in China. Dr. Wang is a member of AIAA and IASS, a senior member of CSTAM and CSFCM, and currently serves as a member of a council in Society of Composite of Heilongjiang Province, a member of the scientific committee of several conferences, a member of scientific committee several conferences, such as MECHCOMP3, M2D2017, MDCE 2016, MEME2016, etc, and a very active reviewer for many international journals.
As a professor in the department of chemical engineering at Daegu University, Dr. Lim has impressed upon students the many intricacies of the field for more than 21 years. His expertise stems from his education, which includes both a BS from Seoul National University and a Ph.D. from the University Center City University of New York in the United States. Over the past seven years, his excellent technology was designated as Superior Technology by the Korea Research Foundation. He has also been cited with numerous awards for his achievements in the field, including receiving a Governor Citation Award from Gyeongbuk government governor two-times Superior Academic-Industrial Cooperation Award and five-time Superior Research Award from Daegu University, and Biotechnology and Bioengineer Award from the Korea Society of Biotechnology and Bioengineering. Dr. Lim's journey during his tenure in higher education has also allowed him to contribute to numerous journals, both as a provider and as an editor. He has been serving as an editor for the Korean Chemical Engineering Research since 2011.
He formerly served as an editor for the Korean Journal of Chemical Engineering from 2012 to 2016 as well as an editor for the HWAHAK KONGHAK from 2007 to 2010. Furthermore, he has been serving on the mediation committee for the Daegu District Court since 1998 and was an examiner for the Environmental Information Institute from 2011 to 2015. Dr. Lim is a fellow, longtime board member of the Korean Society of Rheology, former editor-in-chief of BT News for the Korean Society of Biotechnology and Bioengineering, fellow and vice president of the Korean Society of Odor Research and Engineering, and fellow and journal editor for the Korean Institute of Chemical Engineers. He is holding numerous patents in his field.
United Arab Emirates University
I earned my doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from Tohoku University-Japan in collaboration with New South Wales University-Australia. I have a long record of academic and industrial experience in thermo-fluids, solar energy, and building energy, teaching, research and services and I have a long experience with ABET accreditation. From 1993-2000, I worked as a research associate in the Solar and Thermal Conversion Laboratory at the Development Centre of Renewable Energy (CDER). After I received my Ph.D., I got a grant from New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) and I was appointed as Research Fellow at Tohoku University and I did extensive experimental research on the solar desiccant cooling system. In 2006 I was appointed as a Faculty at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Mineral (KFUPM) in Saudi Arabia and in 2009 at Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) in Oman and then at United Arab Emirates University in 2017. I also held visiting faculty appointments at the Building Research Centre (CSTB) France, University of Sydney, and University of Sharjah. My research work has been supported by several grants from Samsung, NEDO, and universitiesâ€™ internal and external grants. The total budget for my projects exceeds 3.5 Million USD. I have published more than 70 journal and conference papers and I am a reviewer for several journals in my field of specialization. In addition, I have supervised and co-supervised several Ph.D. and Master Theses.

Associate Professor Xiaolin Wang obtained his B. Eng. and Ph.D. from the Xi'an Jiaotong University in China. He is currently working as an Associate Professor and Associate Head of Engineering at the School of Engineering, University of Tasmania. He enjoys a strong record in research fields including cooling and power engineering, process engineering, desalination, and application & utilization of renewable energy. He is a Fellow of Engineers Australia and a member of the World Society of Sustainable Energy Technologies. He won the 2005 Ludwig Mond Prize by the Institute of Mechanical Engineers, United Kingdom, which is awarded for the best contribution or contributions made during the previous year to the progress of mechanical engineering of interest to the chemical industry. Mr. Gheorghe Grigoras is an Associate Professor for the Electrical Engineering Faculty, Power System Department, "Gheorghe Asachi" Technical University of Iasi. Alessandro De Masi is Professor of Drawing Instruments and Techniques at the Department ABC, Milan Polytechnic - School of Design. He also teaches 3D Rendering at the Fine Arts Academies of Turin and Bari, Digital Modeling Techniques at the Academies of Fine Arts of Florence and Naples and Digital Image Processing the Academy of Fine Arts of Roma. He holds a Diploma of Architect (University of Naples 1999), an MSc (2004) and a Ph.D. (2002) in Survey and Representation of Architecture and in the Environment from II University of Naples. He has been teaching Representation of Architecture, Drawing, Architectural Survey, Urban and Environmental Survey in Milan Polytechnic - School of Architecture; Drawing at the Engineering Faculties of Trento, of Padova and Bologna; Drawing at the Faculty of Architecture of Naples; Advanced survey at the Faculty of Architecture of Trieste and Projective and descriptive geometry at the Venice University of IUAV. Dr. Osman Adiguzel graduated from the Department of Physics, Ankara University, Turkey in 1974 and received a PhD- degree from Dicle University, Diyarbakir-Turkey. He studied at Surrey University, Guildford, UK, as a post-doctoral research scientist in 1986-1987, and his studies focused on shape memory alloys. He worked as a research assistant, 1975-80, at Dicle University and shifted to Firat University in 1980. He became a professor in 1996, and he has already been working as a professor. He published over 50 papers in international and national journals; He joined over 100 conferences and symposia at the international and national levels as a participant, invited speaker or keynote speakers with contributions. AbdullahQaban's research lies in the area of materials science and engineering, manufacturing and production, materials processing technologies, materials characterization, mechanical properties, and electrochemical corrosion behavior of materials. He is a visiting lecturer at the School of Mathematics, Computer Science and Engineering at City, University of London. He received his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2019 from the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics at City, University of London. His Ph.D. research is focused on the effect of alloying composition and cooling rate on the hot ductility of TWIP steel and mechanical properties of HSLA steel. The project was supported by both steelmakers, TATA steel in the UK and POSCO in South Korea. He received his Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2014 from the School of Science, Engineering & Design at Teesside University. His Master's research is focused on improving the mechanical properties and recyclability of thermoplastic composites. He received his Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering in 2012 from the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences at the University of Surrey. His Bachelor's research is focused on characterizing damage accumulation and strength of non-crimp fabric composite for the wind turbine blades. The project was supported by VESTAS, the world's largest producer of wind energy.
Prof TREVOR HAAS, Pr En, Pr Tech Eng is am Associate Professor in Structural Engineering at Stellenbosch University, South Africa. He obtained a National and National Higher Diploma in Civil Engineering from Peninsula Technikon in 1991 and 1992, an M.S. in Civil Engineering from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, USA, in 1999, and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Stellenbosch University in 2007. His research interests include earthquake engineering, numerical modelling, structural dynamics, and engineering education. He is developing an earthquake engineering center at Stellenbosch University. Besides his academic work, he is also a practicing engineering consultant and has served on numerous Engineering Council of South Africa's committees.

Dr. Ar. Abraham George is born on the Seventh of December, 1963. He has graduated with the First Rank in B. Arch from the University of Kerala in December 1986, secured M. Arch with Excellent Grade from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, in 1991 and Ph.D. in Development of symbolic tools for communication in Architecture from Calicut University, in 2005. He worked as an active faculty member of the Department of Architecture, National Institute of Technology-Calicut, from August 1988 to January 2009, and has contributed to the cause of Architecture through institution development, numerous building and interior projects; including the prestigious administrative complex of NITC, research projects, numerous published papers, teaching and invited lectures. He was awarded the John Crawford Scholarship by the Government of Australia, 1992 and Fulbright Research Fellowship 2003-04 with the center of research at the Department of Architecture, Cornell University, New York. The Nehru Trust for Cambridge Collections, Victoria Albert Museum, UK had awarded him a research grant for 2005-06. His paper "Gazing into the future of Architecture; An evolving profession" was awarded the Best Faculty Paper Award in the Golden Jubilee Conference of School of Architecture and Planning Chennai, February 2008. He is currently Member Board of Studies of School of Architecture and Planning, Anna University and University of Calicut, Member of the Editorial Board of(i) Education and Practice published by IISTE US, (ii) ICFAI Journal of Architecture, Journal of Emerging Trends in Educational Research and Policy Studies-JETERAPS, Reviewer, (iii) Journal of Architectural Engineering, American Society of Civil Engineers, (iv) Journal of Design Studies, published by IISTE US, and Member of Review panel of International Congress, Petronas University, Kuala Lumpur. He worked as the Chairman-Academic Board, IIA Kerala Chapter, Vice-Chairman-IIA Calicut Center, till February 2009. Formerly, he contributed as the Head of the Department of Architecture and gladly built up the Department of Architecture, NIT Calicut to the national level accredited by the Council of Architecture in the year 2009. Dr. Abraham George is currently working as Associate Professor, with effect from January 29, 2009, at the Department of Architecture and Regional Planning, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.

Dr. Hamidi Abdul Aziz is a professor in environmental engineering in the School of Civil Engineering, Universiti Sains Malaysia. Professor Aziz received his Ph.D. in civil engineering (environmental) from the University of Strathclyde in 1992. He has 26 years of teaching and research experience in the field of environmental engineering, mainly related to water and wastewater treatment, leachate treatment, and bioremediation. His Ph.D. was on Mn removal from water using a limestone filter. His current interest is on Fe and Mn removals by a combination of filtration and microorganism. He has become an editor and editorial board member of a few international journals. Malaysia Academy of Sciences has awarded him a Top Research Scientist of Malaysia in 2012.

Dr. Akaolisa Celestine Ezeagu is a practicing Engineer. He is a member of the following professional bodies; Member Nigerian Society of Engineer, Member Nigerian Institution of Structural Engineer, Member Nigerian Institution of Civil Engineers, Registered Engineer Council for Regulation of Engineering profession in Nigeria, Member of Fire Study Research group of British Institution of Structural Engineer UK and Member of International Research and Development Institute Nigeria. Currently the Chairman Association of Professional Bodies of Anambra State and the Coordinating Chairman Nigerian Institution of Structural Engineers Anambra State Chapter.
Dr. Akaolisa Celestine Ezeagu established a consultancy/ construction company that has transformed to Alisa Engineering Serve Ltd. Through this means, he has solved numerous Civil/Structural Engineering problems and has been a consultant to many local, multinational, Oil and Communication companies. As an academician, Engr. Dr. Akaolisa Celestine Ezeagu has taught at the following university, Igbinedion University Okada, University of Benin and presently at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. Dr. Ezeagu has co-author two books, published over 40 articles in learned journals and over 20 articles in conference proceedings and 15 technical articles. He has attended many local and international conferences in Engineering, Management, and Humanities. He has spent over 17years researching collapse building, material failures, and material properties.
I have completed my Ph.D. at the AzadUniversity Mahabad Branch (with a mark of 18.91 out of 20). I have finished 21papers and 5 books. I excelled in these courses, while also maintaining very high standards in other non-computer related areas. My practical ability is well developed, as I am a proficient lecturer in graduate and undergraduate courses at University and Working on optimization design, Supervise and Analyzeof Residential Concrete Structures and Steel Structures and Masonry Structures. Thus, my research interests are not confined to one field, and I believe my ability to adapt will allow me a great deal of flexibility in the future. My purpose is that I want to be a part of industrial activities to show my creativity in practical situations, where I believe that I can and have to learn more to be more productive both in scientific and management aspects. I hope to become a successful teacher or a researcher in this arduous but exhilarating field.
