Gagik Shmavonyanis Professor at National Polytechnic University of Armenia, Advisor at Ministery of High-Tech Industry of Armenia, International Expert in Nanotechnology at LarrainVial Investment and Advisory Company (Santiago de Chile)and President of NanoHiTech Association. He got his PhD in Physics in 1996 and D.Sc. in Engineering in 2009 at the same University. He did postdoc at National Taiwan University. He was a Visiting Professor at the University of Hull, UK, Polytechnic of Milan, Italy, University of Bremen, Germany, Free University Berlin, Germany, Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain, Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, National Center for Scientific Research "Demokritos", Athens, Greece, University of Cergy-Pontoise, France and University of Tubingen, Tubingen,Germany. Professor Shmavonyan has taught in three universities within three countries: UK, France and Armenia. He has authored/co-authored more than 50 refereed journal papers, 130 Conference papers, 20 patents, 3 books, 1 problem book, 1 Monograph and a chapterin 3-volume textbook“Optical Nanospectroscopy†for European students. His two papers are cited in Graphene Science Handbook: Applications and Industrialization, CRC Press, 2016 and 3-volume textbook“Optical Nanospectroscopyâ€, de Gruyter, 2020. He is involved in coordination and advisory of different national and International R&D projects. He is anInternational Expert in different Scientific Committees,Editorial board member of International Journals, General and Session Chair and Organizing Committee member of International Conferences.
