Prof. Corneliu BOB, graduated at the University Politehnica of Timisoara, Romania in 1961 and Ph.D. Civil Engineering in 1971 at the same University. In 1990 he became professor of R.C. Structures and Ph.D. – Scientific Coordinator at the Civil Engineering Faculty in Timisoara. From 1996 till 2004 he was the Head of the National Building Research Institute – Timisoara Branch. Professor Bob has also been very active in the Romanian Associations for Civil Engineering: National Association Engineering for Structural Analysis, Bucharest, Romanian Concrete Commission, Romanian Academy – Material Science. Member of IABSE since 1992, Prof. Bob became the member in Permanent Committee, Commission WC-8 (WC-4), Editorial Board of Structural Engineering Documents (SED) and in the same time, vice-chairmen of IABSE Romanian Group. The main activities of Prof. Corneliu Bob related to IABSE are underlined below. The first participation of Prof. Corneliu Bob at an IABSE event was in 1992 at Davos, for the International Congress. Science then he participated at all IABSE Annual Meetings, being very active in Permanent Committee/Chairmen of National Groups meetings, Working Commission activities and he presented his most recent features at the all BASAARS which have been organized by WC 4(8). An important contribution of Prof. Bob to the IABSE activities was done by his papers, as author or co-author, which were presented to Conferences/Symposiums organized in the last two decades (17 papers): Brussels 1990, Berlin 1998 (2 papers), Malta 2001, Lahti 2001, Shanhai 2004, Lisboa 2005 (2 papers), Venice 2010 (2 papers), London 2011, Cairo 2012. On the other hand, the team research of Prof. Bob have published two important papers in the Structural Engineering International Journal of IABSE vol. 11, no.4, 2011 and in the Structural Eng. Documents 12, 2010. As member in the Scientific Committees of same Symposiums (Lahti 2001, Lisboa 2005 and Chicago 2008), Prof. Corneliu Bob has a substantial contribution. Prof. Bob has had many and major contributions in the field of Structural Engineering: (i). He participated as designer at more than 60 structures projects. In the last 15 years his attentions was paid to the design of the RC prefabricated structures: 20 structures have been projected and built up with more than 100000 m2 built surface. An important contribution of Prof. Bob in this field was in a patent concerning the „RC prefabricated structures with rigid nodes”. (ii). A very important field of work was paid to evaluation and rehabilitation of existing buildings. He participated at 70 projects of maintenance and rehabilitation of some important structures affected by seismic actions, gas explosions as well as time environmental factors. A very notable contribution is the „Model of reinforcement corrosion in RC Structures. (iii). Prof. Bob C. has published 21 books and 250 papers in Journals and Proceedings of National and International Meetings. The field of interest of works is: rehabilitation of structures, analysis and design of structures, durability of buildings, new special concrete types, building sustainability. Prof. Corneliu BOB played an important role in development of assessing of existing structures and in design of new buildings and he has devoted great energy in promoting the role of students and young engineers as designers and researchers.

David W. Yarbrough is V. President of R&D Services, Inc. a testing and consulting company located in Watertown, TN. He is a Professor of Chemical Engineering, emeritus at Tennessee Technological University having retired in 2002 as Professor and Chair of Chemical Engineer, a retired Research Staff Member (part time) of the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and a Fellow: the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), the Tennessee Academy of Science, and the International Thermal Conductivity Conference. Yarbrough is a graduate of Georgia Tech (BChE 1960, MS 1961, PhD 1966).

Dr. Yong Lei is a professor at the Technical University of Ilmenau in Germany. He obtained his PhD from the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2001. After two years of postdoctoral research at the Singapore-MIT Alliance, he worked as an Alexander von Humboldt Fellow at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in 2003–2006. Later he worked at the University of Muenster as a group leader (2006-2009) and a Junior professor (2009-2011). In 2011, he joined the Technical University of Ilmenau as Professor and the Head of the Group (Chair) of Applied Nano-Physics (Fachgebiet Angewante Nanophysik). His research interests focus on template-based multiple and surface nanostructuring, energy-related devices (sodium-ion and potassium-ion batteries) and optoelectronic applications of functional nanostructures and surface nano-patterns. So far he has authored for more than 220 papers in SCI-indexed journals, many of them are published in first-class journals, including 19 papers published in journals with impact factor higher than 20, and 75 papers published in journals with impact factor of 10-20. Prof. Lei received a few prestigious large projects in Europe and Germany, including European Research Council, BMBF (Federal Ministry of Education and Research of Germany), DFG (German Research Foundation), and VW-Stiftung (Volkswagen Foundation). Now he is an Editorial Advisory Board Member of the journal Advanced Energy Materials, Advisory Board Member of the journals Carbon Energy and InfoMat, and Associate Editor of the journal Energy & Environmental Materials.

Professor Hassan Al Nageim is a Professor of Structural Engineering. His; BSc (Hons) in Civil Engineering from University of Baghdad, MSc in Structural Engineering University College Cardiff, UK and PhD in Civil and Structural Engineering from Heriot-Watt University, UK. In 1977-1979, he has established the new Technology Department at Babylon (Hilla) Technical Institutions, Iraq and worked as a Head of Department. 1983 -1985, he worked as a consultant structural engineer at the Kuwait National Petroleum Company representing the British Inspection X-Ray company. 1989-Date, he worked as a Senior Lecturer, Reader (Associate Professor) in Structural Engineering and in 2003-to date promoted to full Professor in Structural Engineering at Liverpool John Moores University, UK. With main roles of taking the lead of Advanced Structural Design and Pavement Engineering subject area, including design and analysis of steel structures, bridges, concrete structures, pavement engineering: design, evaluation and materials developments. Professor Al Nageim is a regular speaker and keynote speakers at different national and international conferences and a consultant to many companies worldwide in the field of structural design and materials innovations and developments. He has published more than 140 scientific conference and journal papers and two books entitled: Structural Mechanics published by Pearson Education; Steel Structures: Practical Studies published by Taylor and Francis. Professor Hassan main research interest’s area is in structural & pavement engineering design and evaluations including innovations in materials technology. Professor Al Nageim is also: A Chartered Engineer and a member of the British Engineering Council, the Founder and Chief Editor of the International Journal of Pavement Engineering & Asphalt Technology, established in 2001, ISSN 1464-8164, the Founder and Chairman of the international annual conference on Pavement Engineering, Asphalt Technology, Sustainable Materials, and Infrastructures, A Fellow of the British Institution of Non-Destructive Testing, UK and a Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation UK. Professor Al Nageim also supervised over 16 successful UK PhD students as a director of studies and external examiners for more than 25 successful PhD students from the University of: Anna University, India,Visvesvaraya Technological University, India, Università degli Studi di Cagliari, Italia, University of; Nottingham, Greenwich, Portsmouth, Coventry, Salford, Liverpool and Ulster of the UK and University College Dublin. Adjunct Dean to the Gahan Polytechnic and of external examiners and advisor for two academic degree courses in Wolverhampton University and the University of Ulster of the UK. Professor Al Nageim has also extensive experience in managing and development of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in; civil engineering, building maintenance management and building surveying at Liverpool John Moores University, UK. Professors Al Nageim also playing a major roles as a member of the strategic planning educational and council memberships committees for two Engineering and Materials Institutions in the UK.

Prof. Oleg Figovsky was the founder and R&D the Polymate Ltd. - International Nanotechnology Research Centre where he is working on research in nanostructured corrosion-resistant composite materials and protective coatings based on a polymer and silicate matrix. Novel nanotechnologies invented by Prof. O. Figovsky were the basis for establishing industrial production in the US, Canada, China, Mexico, Russia and Israel. From 2020 he is honorary president & chief of Department for science, technology & education AWP He is a member of the European Academy of Sciences and Head of the UNESCO Chair "Green Chemistry". For his inventions in nanotechnologies he was awarded gold and silver medals at IENA-98 and Gold Angel Prize at the Genius 2006 exhibition. Prof. Oleg Figovsky has authored of a few books, more than 300 scientific articles and 500 patents. Prof. Oleg Figovsky was awarded orders "Engineering Glory", "Antoine de Saint-Exupery" & medal "Holy Land of Israel"; he is Laureate of the 2015 Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge Award (USA) and 2017 & 2018 Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award (USA).

Phillip Choi is Professor of the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering at the University of Alberta. He is a registered professional engineer in the province of Alberta and a Federal Court approved Expert Witness in Polymer Science and Engineering. He is also elected Fellows of the Chemical Institute of Canada and Engineering Institute of Canada. Prof. Choi received his BASc in Chemical Engineering from the University of British Columbia and his MASc and PhD, both in Chemical Engineering, from the University of Waterloo. His current research interests lie in the areas of design/development of synthetic and bio-based polymers for applications involving controlled release of small molecules. He has authoured and co-authoured 3 book chapters, 136 referred journal publications and 1 US patent. He is also a coauthor of a textbook entitled “The Elements of Polymer Science and Engineering,” 3rd edition (2013) published by Elsevier.

Brian Cantor is Professor of Materials at Oxford and Brunel Universities. He is also a Trustee of the Science Museums Group and an Editor of Elsevier’s premier review journal, Progress in Materials Science. He has published over 300 books and papers. He invented the field of High Entropy Alloys and discovered “Cantor alloys”. In the recent past, he has been Vice-Chancellor of the Universities of Bradford and York, Head of Mathematical and Physical Sciences at Oxford, a research scientist at GE Labs in the USA, a consultant for Alcan, NASA and Rolls-Royce, and a Vice-President of the Royal Academy of Engineering. He has worked at other universities such as Sussex, Northeastern, Banaras, Washington State, IISc Bangalore and the Kobe Institute, and chaired or been on boards such as the Marshall Aid Commission, the UK Universities Pensions Forum, and Bradford, Leeds and York Local Economic Partnerships (LEPs). He founded, chaired and built up the Begbroke Science Park, the Heslington East Campus, the Hull-York Medical School, the Institute for Effective Education, the Wolfson Cantre for Applied Health Research, the Centre for Applied Human Rights, the Digital Health Enterprise Zone, the National Science Learning Centre, and the World Technology Universities Network. He has received academic prizes, honorary professorships and fellowships in the UK, USA, China and India. He was awarded a CBE for services to higher education in 2013.

Sokovnin Sergey graduated from the Tomsk Politechnical Institute in 1983 with the diploma of engineer-physicist. After graduating he worked in Institute of High Current Electronics of Siberian Branch of RAS (Tomsk) as an engineer and junior researcher (since 1985). Since 1986 he work in the Institute of Electrophysics Ural Branch RAS as junior researcher. He graduated from the post-graduate courses of the IEP UB RAS and got a degree of Candidate (1994) and Doctor of Technical Sciences (in Electrophysics) in 2005. Since 2011 he is a leader of the Electrophysics Technology Group IEP UB RAS.

SebahattinTüzemen, Professor of Physics He finished his PhD (1993) on the characterization of defect centers based on microwave technologies, at the University of Manchester, UK. He won the UK’s ORS awards due to his capacitance spectroscopy experiments. He pursued post-doctorate studies at the Center of Atomic Energy of Saclay-Paris. After he was appointed to full professorship position at Atatürk University, he worked as a Fulbright Professor at Wake Forest University in the USA. He has recently been in the administration as Vice Rector. He was the Editor-in-Chief of Turk J Phys. He is the author of “The Quantum and Cosmic Codes of the Universe” published by Cambridge Scholars Publishing. Along with his current studies on solar cells and gas sensors, he is presently conducting studies on particle physics.

Ephraim Suhir is on the faculty of the Portland State University, Portland, OR, USA, Technical University, Vienna, Austria and James Cook University, Queensland, Australia. He is also CEO of a Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) ERS Co. in Los Altos, CA, USA, is Foreign Full Member (Academician) of the National Academy of Engineering, Ukraine (he was born in that country); Life Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), the Society of Optical Engineers (SPIE), and the International Microelectronics and Packaging Society (IMAPS); Fellow of the American Physical Society (APS), the Institute of Physics (IoP), UK, and the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE); and Associate Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). Ephraim has authored 450+ publications (patents, technical papers, book chapters, books), presented numerous keynote and invited talks worldwide, and received many professional awards, including 1996 Bell Laboratories Distinguished Member of Technical Staff (DMTS) Award (for developing effective methods for predicting the reliability of complex structures used in AT&T and Lucent Technologies products), and 2004 ASME Worcester Read Warner Medal (for outstanding contributions to the permanent literature of engineering and laying the foundation of a new discipline -Structural Analysis of Electronic Systems). Ephraim is the third -Russian American, after S. Timoshenko and I. Sikorsky, who received this prestigious award. His most recent awards are 2019 IEEE Electronic Packaging Society (EPS) Field award for seminal contributions to mechanical reliability engineering and modeling of electronic and photonic packages and systems and 2019 Int. Microelectronic Packaging Society s (IMAPS) Lifetime Achievement award for making exceptional, visible, and sustained impact on the microelectronics packaging industry and technology.

Farid Menaa (B.Sc. Eng., B.Sc. Bio., M.Sc. Genetics, Master Gerontology/Geriatry, Ph.D. Radiation Oncology and Gerontology, EMBA Entrepreneurship and MD candidate), is an inter- and multi-disciplinary professional. Professor, principal investigator, Director, consultant editor, reviewer, event organizer, and entrepreneur, he earned his degrees with highest distinctions from prestigious French universities and institutions. He followed a post-doctoral in oncology as a NIH-fellow (San Diego, California, USA; 2004-2007). Subsequently, he pursued his career in dermatology, and stem cells as a DFG-Fellow (Wuerzburg, Germany; 2007-2009). Then, he was promoted as Chief Scientific Officer and Vice-President R&D at Fluorotronics, Inc. (CA, USA; 2009-2010), a nanotechnology and fluorine chemical company. Eventually, he was appointed Principal Investigator in Hematology and Genomics as a FAPESP-Fellow (São Paulo, Brazil; 2010-2012). He authored and co-authored more than 100 publications (including peer-reviewed ISI research and review articles, books, book chapters, conference proceedings, patents). He is often invited as a speaker; keynote/featured speaker and (co-) chairman to reputed world congresses and institutions, where he is offering speeches in various areas of medicine, sciences, and technology

Kliment Stefanov Radoev, assistant professor in Structures. Graduated from the University of Architecture Civil Engineering and Geodesy in the Technology of Architecture Department. Rich practice and design experience. Assistant professor in UACEG. Invited lecturer in multiple universities in Europe and Asia. Interests in architectural technologies materials with recent searches of bio-based materials application; Initiator of multidisciplinary team exploration of novel technologies in the domain of biology, physics, and chemistry for implementation in building science and practices.

Dr Adiguzel graduated from Department of Physics, Ankara University, Turkey in 1974 and received PhD- degree from Dicle University, Diyarbakir-Turkey. He has studied at Surrey University, Guildford, UK, as a post-doctoral research scientist in 1986-1987, and studied on shape memory alloys. He worked as research assistant, 1975-80, at Dicle University and shifted to Firat University, Elazig, Turkey in 1980. He became professor in 1996, and he has already been working as professor. He published over 60 papers in international and national journals; He joined over 100 conferences and symposia in international and national level as participant, invited speaker or keynote speaker with contributions of oral or poster. He served the program chair or conference chair/co-chair in some of these activities. In particular, he joined in last seven years (2014 - 2021) over 70 conferences as Keynote Speaker and Conference Co-Chair organized by different companies. He supervised 5 PhD- theses and 3 M.Sc- theses. Dr. Adiguzel served his directorate of Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, Firat University, in 1999-2004. He received a certificate awarded to him and his experimental group in recognition of significant contribution of 2 patterns to the Powder Diffraction File – Release 2000. The ICDD (International Centre for Diffraction Data) also appreciates cooperation of his group and interest in Powder Diffraction File.

Presently I am working as a Assoc. Dean/HOD in School of Basic and Applied Sciences at Lingayas Vidyapeeth, Faridabad. He worked at National Physical Laboratory as Senior Research fellow, and Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi as Young Scientist. He has quite significant list of publications and research activities. He published more than 100 publication, 2 books, 7 book chapter and 7 patents. Presently, he is working in materials science, nanotechnology and new energy harvesting materials developments. He worked as post doc in Aveiro University, Portugal. He worked as visiting scientist in Leeds University, UK. Recently he got the INSA visiting Scientist from the IIT Delhi. He also served as mentor in CSIR for the summer Research program.

Dr. Ramendra Pati Pandey is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biomedical Engineering at the SRM University, Delhi-NCR, Sonepat. He was a FAPESP Post-Doctoral Fellow (from September 2015- January 2019), a very prestigious fellowship of Latin America at the Department of Medicine-InCor/HC-FMUSP, University of Sao Paulo, School of Medicine, Brazil.

Dr Angéline Poulon is an associate professor at the University of Bordeaux and ICMCB. She has a long experience in the correlation between process parameters, microstructure and properties of structural and functional materials. Her current interests range from the search for innovative multifunctional coatings more exactly hard coatings, for applications in energy, aerospace and aeronautical industries. She is a specialist in fine characterisation with an extended recognized experience in electronic microscopy and physico-chemical techniques. She has co-authored 27 peer-reviewed articles, 33 oral presentations, 9 invited conferences and 3 patents.

Qijie Liang is a research fellow in the Department of Physics, National University of Singapore.My research interests are low-dimensional materials and devices, defect engineering, nano electronics, optoelectronics and flexible sensors, as well as self-powered sensors. Currently, I am working on two-dimensional materials and devices, photovoltaic devices as self-powered sensor, and defect engineering.

Abdeen Mustafa Omer (BSc, MSc, PhD) is an Associate Researcher at Energy Research Institute (ERI). He obtained both his PhD degree in the Built Environment and Master of Philosophy degree in Renewable Energy Technologies from the University of Nottingham. He is a qualified Mechanical Engineer with a proven track record within the water industry and renewable energy technologies. He has been graduated from the University of El Menoufia, Egypt, BSc in Mechanical Engineering. His previous experience involved being a member of the research team at the National Council for Research/Energy Research Institute in Sudan and working director of research and development for National Water Equipment Manufacturing Co. Ltd., Sudan. He has been listed in the book WHO’S WHO in the World 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2010. He has published over 300 papers in peer-reviewed journals, 200 review articles, 7 books and 150 chapters in books.

Dr. Mokhles K. Azer was born in Assiut, Egypt in 1972. He graduated his B.Sc. in science from Assiut University in 1994, Egypt. He worked as geologist in Assiut University and trained in the projects of Natural Resources. He obtained a Fellowship Grant from Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, Egypt and obtained his M.Sc. from Cairo University in 2000. He obtained his PhD from Cairo University in the Neoproterozoic volcanics of Egypt, in 2004. He did his postdoctoral studies at the National Research Centre Egypt with cooperation with many scientists from different countries (USA, Japan, Sweden, Finland, Canada and Australia). He worked as assistant professor in the field of Mineralogy and Petrology of igneous and metamorphic rocks since 2009 until now. Dr. Mokhles K. Azer worked in many intentional projects in cooperation with USA, Japan and Sweden. He used several of tools to investigate the origin and evolution of the Neoproterozoic rocks in the Arabian-Nubian Shield and their economic significance. He participated in many internal projects in the National Research Centre which concerning the evaluation of some rocks and ores to be used in constructions and industry. He obtained many grants for his scientific researches to study the Neoproterozoic ophiolites in the Eastern Desert of Egypt as well as the intrusive carbonate-albitite complex in Southern Sinai, Egypt. The grants were supported by the US National Science Foundation and NSF-OCE under the US-Egypt Joint Fund Program. He presented his works in many international and local conferences as well as published must of his works in the international journals with high Impact Factors. He awarded many prizes due to his outstanding contributions to the geology of Egypt, such as: (1) National Research Centre award for the geological Sciences 2007, (2) EREX company prize 2010, (3) prize of the best paper during the 49 Annual Meeting of Geological Society of Egypt 2011, (4) State Incentive Award in Basic Science (geology) in year 2011, and (5) Misr El-Kheir Foundation Award of scientific publications published in the world's most prestigious scientific journals in 2012. Dr. Mokhles K. Azer organized and participated in many local and international workshops which funded by foreign international agencies to correlate the geology of Egypt, especially the Red Sea region, with those of other countries. These workshops were focused on the Neoproterozoic basement evolution of Egypt, Jordan and Saudi Arabia, in order to better understand this critical period in Earth history. He performed many international training courses in the National Research Centre-Egypt for the international scientists in the field of Geology. He taught at several international training programs in the field of geology, especially for cadres of Tajikistan, Commonwealth countries and Armenia. He served as a reviewer for many international journals in the field of Earth Sciences
