Ms. Sacks is a board certified Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist, Certified and Approved Consultant with American Society of Clinical Hypnosis, and certified in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy from the Albert Ellis Institute. She is a clinical instructor for the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. She completed her baccalaureate and master’s degree in nursing from the University of Pennsylvania. Published articles include Rational emotive behavior therapy, disputing irrational philosophies, in the Journal of Psychosocial Nursing, and Care after chaos: Use of critical incident stress debriefing after traumatic workplace violence, in Perspectives in Psychiatric Care. She has provided clinical hypnosis workshops and supervision for American Society of Clinical Hypnosis and The Greater Philadelphia Society of Clinical Hypnosis for chronic pain, anxiety and phobic disorders, tobacco use disorder, disordered eating and cognitive behavioral hypnotherapy. She has 37 years of private practice experience in clinical hypnosis and cognitive behavioral therapy in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania.
