About Conference

The global pharmaceutical industry is projected to reach a value of US$ 1170 by 2021 growing at a compound annual growth rate of 5.8 percent. Increased prevalence of chronic diseases, lowered regulatory barriers for new drugs and the growing healthcare market, where drugs play an important role are key factors influencing the growth. Further research focuses on the entire spectrum of discovery, development, evaluation, and approval of new drugs.

To present innovative research and outcomes in the pharmaceutical industry and to present information related to recent developments within this defined area, OLC International is organizing 2nd International Conference on Pharmaceutics & Drug Delivery Systems. The conference will be held from August 26-27, 2021 in Osaka, Japan. The theme of the conference is “Potential Challenges in Pharmaceutical Innovations and Strategies to Tackle Emerging Drug Delivery Methods” highlighting new concepts and theories in the industry.

The conference focuses on current research outcomes and initiatives that can be readily applied in the pharmaceutical industry and provides an intellectual platform for all the participants to discuss and share new ideas and the latest research in pharmaceutical and related science. This meeting will make significant contributions to the advancement of research in pharmaceutical science.

The primary goal of this conference is to promote research and developmental activities in pharmaceutical sciences while enabling scientific information interchange between researchers, industries, students and practitioners working in this field.

PharmaDDS-2021 will offer wonderful opportunities to build academic and professional networks across a variety of disciplines covering the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. With pharmaceutics and drug delivery system sectors rapidly transforming into new levels, this event tends to be a wonderful platform for exchanging both scientific and technological knowledge among experts in these fields. We hope this conference will enhance the skills and awareness of all participants while.

Osaka, Japan

Osaka is a large port city and commercial center on the Japanese island of Honshu. It's known for its modern architecture, nightlife and hearty street food. The 16th-century shogunate Osaka Castle, which has undergone several restorations, is its main historical landmark, surrounded by a moat and park with plum, peach and cherry-blossom trees. Sumiyoshi-taisha is among Japan’s oldest Shinto shrines.

Neon-lit Dōtonbori is Osaka’s popular dining and entertainment district, where huge signs in the shape of sea creatures hang above eateries serving local specialties like takoyaki (octopus dumplings) and okonomiyaki (savory pancakes). Nearby Shinsaibashi is a covered shopping arcade with trendy fashion boutiques. Other big draws include Universal Studios Japan, the movie-themed amusement park, as well as the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, which re-creates Pacific Ocean habitats. The top of the Umeda Sky Building, which has glass elevators and an open-air observatory, has views over the whole city.

Osaka's peak travel periods are March, May (especially Golden Week, which begins in late April), August, and November–December. The subtropical climate causes mild winters, humid summers and a May–July rainy season. Widely attended events include various cherry-blossom festivals (April) and the popular, longstanding Tenjin Festival (July), known for its music and puppetry performances, portable shrine parade, evening procession of boats and closing hand-clapping ceremony.
